Off to the MyTown Shopping Mall

Well, after being outdoors in the baking heat for a lot of yesterday, today we are going to….. yes, you’ve guessed it, another mall! This one is a bit south of us, and the MRT stop (Cochrane MRT), which is the stop after the one for the TRX Mall. This mall is called MyTown.

MyTown is another large shopping mall, which has pretty much all the usual shops and restaurants that you can expect in a mall. It also has a large Ikea connected to it – not that we have any inclination to visit an Ikea.

The mall itself was a little older than some of the malls that we have been in, but we did enjoy walking around it. There is a nice little outside sunken area, though it was too hot an area for us to sit outside at, but there were some people using this area. There was also a fabulous bookstore that we spent quite a bit of time looking around – I do love how the bookstores here look and function more like actual libraries. I didn’t take many photos as there was not really much to stand out. After a good few hours of walking around, having lunch and getting some groceries for later, we made the return trip back home.
